They were also super helpful with my queries around transport. My room was top quality. Spacious, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet despite the central location. Distance between bed and the walls was tiny, you have to do some physical exercise to get in. Also, the toilet felt a bit fragile :)

(לצערנו היה סגור) הבקתה הייתה נקייה ויבשה, מיטה זוגית עם ג'קוזי בחדר, ספה נפתחת, אינטרנט, טלוויזיה, מיקרו, מזגן בכל חדר. כל הבקתות אותו דבר עם גלריה למעלה עם 2 מיטות. הבן אהב לשון שם. מגבות החליפו כל יום. בריכה מקורה ומחוממת וסאונה. שחינו כשבחוץ היה +3 מעלות מטבח כללי גדול עם אפשרות לעשות מנגל גם בפנים וגם בחוץ מול נוף המדהים, כמו כן יש גז, אפשר להכין אוכל. בעל הבית מאוד אדיב ונעים, ממש דאג לכל דבר מה שהיינו צריכים. אפשר לקבל ארוחות בוקר בתשלום. עזבנו את המקום עם חוויות טובות. נחזור."

"Great small hotel and pub. Good breakfast with pancaces and best scrambled eggs I ever had in any hotel in Europe. They could sell it as separated dish and I would buy it every morning. Lot of TV channels for every taste."

"This was a nicely designed hotel, with spacious rooms. Conveniently located for Yala safari pickups. There was even a peacock to greet us every morning outside our balcony!"

Though the room was mostly clean, there were some stains on our sheets. The friendly staff quickly rectified this. When we had to leave early for our safari, there was no staff available on site to unlock the gate and we had to do a real life jailbreak from the hotel! Also the water is reliant on solar so you may have to have a cold shower on a cloudy/rainy day.

Very isolated, surrounded by an abandoned resort. Menu very limited and expensive although the chef was very obliging and did cook of menu dishes for those who asked. Our room wasn’t cleaned twice and we had to remind someone to do it, we had to move rooms as the toilet facilities broke on our first room but this was handled quickly. For the cost of the room I would have expected a little more e.g. bottled water free in the room, tissues to be available in the room, better quality toilet paper.

Lot of stairs to bring down the luggage and carry it back. The train track adjoining the hotel is very annoying and extremely noisy when the train passes through.

His dedication, generosity, and genuine care are truly rare to find. Thanks to him, our stay was smooth, comfortable, and unforgettable. He turned our visit to Gabala into a perfect experience and set a new standard for what true hospitality means. This hotel is outstanding, but Mr. Nurlan is its greatest asset. "Wangdue Eco Lodge is a lovely place tucked high above the Dzong, with amazing views from the room that really make the stay special. The staff were very kind and helpful throughout. Dinner and breakfast were simple but perfectly adequate. The rooms are very spacious, though they could benefit from a few extra touches to make them feel cosier, as they felt a little empty. Overall, a pleasant stay with beautiful views and a peaceful setting."

"After a busy day of driving from Hokitika, we decided to split our drive to Kaikoura by staying at this hotel for one evening. Upon check-in the young woman clearly explained the restaurant hours, breakfast plan and how to use the outdoor jacuzzi which we definitely utilized for star-gazing later that evening. Since the hotel is literally in the middle of mountains and valleys and rivers, the views from the hotel/restaurant/villa were fantastic. We spent a few hours star-gazing the Milky Way which is our passion and one of the objectives for staying here for the evening. Given the hotel's location, the restaurant menu was quite limited which is a shame but understood given its remoteness. Lovely stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for those considering....."
