Having a car or using taxis is essential for your convenience. At the villa, you will hear birds singing, and there are many authentic national elements. There is a private yard, and you can also park your car on the property. If it’s cool or hot, you can turn on the air conditioners. The kitchen is well equipped, there are two bathrooms, a washing machine, and good hot-water pressure. Comfortable and self-sufficient. "the bungalow was clean and confortable, breakfast was very complete with cheese, eggs, meat,salad... the space is quiet and just next to the river. there is WiFi in the restaurant and hammocks and chairs to chill in the compound. Good value for money."

There was no hot water in the showers, otherwise we would have stayed another night.

The mosquitoes around the pool

"Simba camp is an amazing place to stay, especially if you want to experience the local culture and see wildlife. The chef cooked delicious food and even went out of his way to cater to my son's fussy eating. The highlights were definitely the morning and evening walks with Kwenia to see the wildlife and learn about the bush, the school and village visits, and beading with the local women. A very memorable experience."

"TV with Youtube. Pond after the sauna. Everything was clean and working. Host very generous with wood for sauna."

Somehow the sauna loses steam very fast. Hot-tub was extra and pretty expensive.

Getting to the location is difficult during winter. Car couldn’t go in so we had to lug through our luggages through the snow. But it was worth it! 😊

A little more effort on the cleaning (towels with stain) would have been nice, place is difficult to get to but that's part of the charm

It's a bit far from city center and from restaurants, so few options for vegetarians like me.
