No good option to walk to beach as main road is busy and no bike lane. Small windows don’t let one feel/see the nice area/surrounding.

Nos quedamos sin agua caliente, el 4to día. Esperabamos un resarcimiento. Si bien dijimos que no habia problemas, no era el servicio que habiamos contratado.

"The unit was very very clean. We were close to the beach. Walking distance. Beach towels , chairs and umbrella were available. There was a beach bar right on the beach that we ate at. We did not rent a car. We used M&M taxi while we were there. Awesome service. We also ate at Miss B. Another spot on the beach front. We enjoyed our time. Thank you. We were a party of three. Wifi was able to handle all your streaming needs."

Whenever I needed anything, they were quick to help and always took care of everything with a smile. Their hospitality truly made my stay feel special and comfortable. The place is located a bit farther from the main areas, so you’ll need to walk a few kilometers, take a tuk-tuk, or have your own vehicle. However, there is a small convenience shop right next to the accommodation, which is handy if you need anything. If you’re sensitive to noise at night, it might be an issue — though that’s quite common for most hostels and village houses in Sri Lanka.

The single bed was not comfortable (on one side I was feeling that I was sinking). The A/C wasn't working because the remote control was missing. I contacted the host, he said that he will take care of it, but he did not. To be honest, it wasn't so hot and for most days I did not need the A/C. However, for the last few days of my stay I could really use the A/C, especially at night. The shared fridge could be cleaner. The bathroom did not have a window, it only had a kind of fan on the ceiling which did not work particularly well. As a result, some unpleasant odors persisted and the waters caused by showering could not evaporate very quickly.

"The accommodation is a little out of the way, but is an absolute winner in terms of price-performance ratio. There is nothing missing. About a 25 minute walk to a well-stocked supermarket and the top restaurant Papa Figo. To the beach, turn left and go straight on. There is also a bank branch with an ATM on the way."

Karaluchy! Codziennie jakiegoś znajdywaliśmy. Mieszkanie wydawało się bardzo czyste, więc może kwestia starego budynku? Choć klatka schodowa była brudna. Dodatkowo rozpadająca się deska sedesowa, brak wymiany ręczników przez cały pobyt i zbyt mała ilość papieru toaletowego.

"Lovely area, close to a river walk and around 10 minutes walk to the centre of Buncrana. Lidl and Aldi are a 2-minute drive away. The apartment had everything we needed. Very cosy and clean. The host had kindly left us wheaten bread and some milk. A lovely lady ❤️"
