"Our favorite stay in the DR by far! Property is gorgeous and the staff and guests are both laid back and friendly. Spring for a massage as they are affordable and excellent. Food was great with many options for varied diets. I don’t drink alcohol and really appreciated the delicious mocktail menu. We are a married couple traveling without our kids, but the facility is child- and baby-friendly and all children we saw there were remarkably well-behaved. Our cabana was gorgeous with a great mattress. We loved lazing on the porch with its comfy hammock. We didn’t spend time at the pool with the ocean right there, but it was clean and a comfortable temperature. The property arranged multiple drivers for us, and they were extremely punctual (even in the very early morning) and well worth the cost. Maximo drove us to the waterfalls and dropped us at our next hotel in Puerto Plata afterward, and he was great. Highly recommend!"

"Our cabana was next to the office and could get a bit loud at night when people were walking past. That is literally the only thing I can think of."

"Very recent infrastructures that are well maintained and very clean. The place was very quiet and calm, especially compared to the busy and loud main road. The staff was very nice, caring, and respectful. Bed was comfortable with nice sheets and towels, kitchen was very decently equipped, we loved having water jugs so we didn’t have to hustle to get water."

"It’s slightly far from things (surf beach, restaurants, main road, etc), it would be have been easier to move around with some sort of transportation (car, scooter, or even bike), but we still managed by walking a lot and taking the public transportation. Not many eating options walking distance, but I believe there will be in a few years. The breakfast sometimes took quite a long time (it reached over 1.5 hrs of waiting one day because most guests arrived at the same time). But I would say that it starts too late (8:30), so if you have early morning activities or if you want to enjoy a full day, you can’t really take the breakfast (even more so since it could be long)."
