Surfbreak B&B is located a 4-minute walk from Encuentro beach, and features two outdoor swimming pools, a communal kitchen, a yoga studio, free WiFi and free parking. The breakfast is also included. Cottages and various categories of rooms offer hand-crafted furniture and decor by local artisans, a private bathroom with shower, a fan and some rooms have the option of air-conditioning. This property is 8-15 minutes’ walk from the surf breaks and a 5-minute drive from the center of Cabarete. The resort is located a 4.5 km from Cabarete, 2.5 km from Kite Beach and 16 km / 15 minute drive from Puerto Plata’s International Airport (POP).

""My stay at Surfbreak was the best of the best. The place is perfect for traveling alone or with friends. It has the ideal mix between the privacy of a hotel, because it has private rooms with private bathrooms, but it also offers a shared kitchen and common areas where you can meet other guests and connect with people. I traveled alone and met people with whom I later went out to some bars and surfing. Plus, being able to use the shared kitchen to store my food and cook was key to saving some money. The hosts are extremely helpful and always available for whatever you need. It’s run by the owners, which always adds an extra touch. The location is ideal for those who want to surf or do any kind of water sport. It’s just a 10-minute walk from perfect waves. I RECOMMEND IT 1000 TIMES. WITHOUT A DOUBT, IT’S MY PLACE FOR MY NEXT VACATION.""

"A quiet cosy guest house in a small village next to Cabarete, with a large place for relaxation and a very welcoming staff. The house is located within a walking distance of the beach where you can enjoy surfing or get a taxi to Cabarete. We booked a budget room, which unfortunately had and technical issue, but the owner approached it very professionally and offered us a room upgrade to make us as comfortable as possible. Generally, the communication was very nice and it was very easy to navigate around with all the recommendations that the staff gave/prepared as a document."
