"Es ist eine wunderbare Unterkunft mit einem noch wunderbareren Gastgeber. Wir kamen an und wurden begrüßt mit so unglaublich viel Herzlichkeit, Kaffee, Tee und Obst. Das Camp besteht aus 4 Zelten. Jedes Zelt hat eine eigene kleine Toilette und Dusche - sehr einfach aber völlig ausreichend und mal ehrlich: in der Wüste eine eigene Nasszelle ist ja schon Luxus 🙂 Die Betten sind super weich und wir haben toll geschlafen. Es gibt die Möglichkeit Dünen bashing zu machen und den Sonnenuntergang auf den Dünen zu betrachten. Eine atemberaubende Erfahrung und ein Adrenalinkick zugleich. Das Abendessen war der Wahnsinn. Familien gekochtes, echtes omanisches Essen. So lecker. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Man wird hier behandelt wie ein Freund. Eine der besten Erfahrungen, die wir je gemacht haben. "Ein unglaubliches Erlebnis. Mohammed ist ein überragender Gastgeber. Der Sohn der Wüste bereitet das Abendmahl und schürt das Lagerfeuer unter dem endlosen Sternenhimmel in der totalen Dunkelheit der Wüste. In der Stille der Nacht hört man das Blöken der Kamele in der Nacht. Die Zeltunterkünfte sind authentisch und bequem. Es fehlt an nichts. Ich habe. Ich rundherum wohl gefühlt. Danke Mohammed."

"Malgré un petit problème d’organisation mais sans gravité, Mohamed et sa famille (frère, cousin, enfants)ont été des hôtes fabuleux et Mohamed nous a raconté autour d’un feu l’histoire des familles bédouines dont il fait partie et nous a préparé un diner succulent ainsi qu’un petit déjeuner comme on en avait pas encore eu. De plus c’est l’esprit très familial car il n’a que 4 tentes et on a le sentiment d’être de la famille. En plus les tentes sont grandes et le lit et super confortable et beaucoup mieux que dans beaucoup d’hôtel en Europe."

"Muhammad, my host, was exceptional. He is from the desert and his mother grew up inside the dunes and still lives there, so his knowledge of the area is incredible. I encountered other tourists whose guides couldn’t answer basic questions about desert animals or topography. Muhammad, on the other hand, could explain how life in the desert has changed over time, and I learned so much about desert ecology and culture. The stay feels more like staying with old friends than at a hotel. The accommodation is comfortable and authentic, and the food, coffee and tea are delicious. Staying at Majicdunes felt like experiencing the best of Omani hospitality."

"Nous avons passé un moment inoubliable dans un endroit hors du temps, où le désert dévoile toute sa beauté : dunes dorées, silence apaisant et accueil chaleureux, nous avons vécu un moment unique. Le camp est confortable et authentique. Chaque détail est pensé avec soin et intérêt pour les visiteurs. Plusieurs activités sont proposées : balade en chameau, visite de maison bédouine, feu de camp… Repas excellents, diversifiés et copieux. Le propriétaire, natif des lieux, est disponible, réactif et fait tout pour rendre ce moment magique. C’était parfait !"
