Located 50 metres from the beach on Holbox Island, this colourful hostel offers a garden with hammocks and a roof terrace overlooking the island. Bed linen is included and towels can be rented. The Tribu has a communal kitchen and BBQ facilities. You can enjoy kite surfing lessons, movie nights and jam sessions in the bar. Staff can also provide maps and information about the island. Hostel Tribu is situated just 3 blocks from the centre of Holbox’s main fishing village. The surrounding Yalahau Lagoon is an ideal place to spot dolphins and rare birds.

"A colourful and chill place to stay. We had our own room with a bathroom. The only thing missing was a second wall socket. We would have wanted to charge our phones on both sides of the bed. The activities were a nice plus. We booked a bioluminescence kayak trip with the hostel, but that night there was none."

"The vibe is welcoming and friendly. Hammock area. Near to the sea. The hostel offers different activities. Toilette and Shower are in different Rooms. When I talked to the stuff about the negative Points below, they took it serious and their reaction was friendly. So maybe they already improved it."
"Sometimes activities got cancelled, without informing the guests. The bedsheet goes off the old mattress quite easy. No curtains at the beds."
