"This is a magical place to stay!! The staff are lovely - they became like family, the day trips are sooooo fun and affordable, the location is pinch me BEAUTIFUL but the main thing is that this island is so small and local, you feel so isolated but in the best most relaxing way. This was our favourite local island stop in our Maldives trip."

The rooms are clean, comfortable, and nicely furnished, with everything you need to feel at home. The staff is extremely kind, helpful, and always smiling: they made us feel welcome from the very first moment, assisting us with excursions, transfers, and local tips. The food is delicious, with fresh and flavorful dishes, both local and international. The location is ideal for snorkeling and sea excursions: crystal-clear waters, stunning coral reefs, and breathtaking natural scenery. We highly recommend Tranquil Nest Vaavu to anyone seeking tranquility, authenticity, and a truly Maldivian experience. We would definitely come back! ♥️"

"This Hotel is amazing! If you want to hideaway from big City Life, you must visit this place. 60 people are living there. Privat Beach was Stunning! Lonely Island vibes! Staff was super friendly and everything felt so familiar. Snorkeling gear was free to rent. Breakfast and Dinner was amazing! The beach area was super cozy, perfect to reset! In front of the hotel you can find some nurse sharks, sting rays and turtles, that’s so cool!"

"The best place we stayed at in the Maldives. The whole atmosphere at Tranquil Nest Vaavu is super chill, exactly what we were looking for. Everyone on the staff was always very helpful and friendly. The entire island and its beaches are clean and beautiful. Every day, we saw many different animals swimming near the beach or in the nearby lagoon. We also enjoyed the food and went on several trips organized directly by the accommodation."

"Amazing location, the hotel could use a little bit of a maintenance but considering the humidity, it’s quite normal. We loved it regardless of small inconveniences but the view from the room made up for it."

"Honestly, everything is perfect. The peace and quiet, the facilities, the view... It's paradise... We wake up with the sunrise, have breakfast, go snorkeling, relax on a deckchair in the shade, play games, watch the sunset and the stars! 🤩 They offer excursions, but we didn't even need them... we felt really good there."

"wow! the name says it all - this was a tranquil nest ! it really felt that way while we were there. Such a treat to stay at a Maldives local island rather than all the trimmings of a resort. We really felt like we were the only ones there most of the time. The highlight was the boat trip - sunset fishing and afterwards the team cooking us fish on the BBQ. Acho and Ahmed were lovely to deal with and treated us very well. Thankyou so much and we will highly recommend this experience."

"i got a little sea sick from the boat ride on the journey from Male, but I think it was just the weather as I was fine on the way back. Beds are a little hard (I agree with other reviews on that point)."

"The location is right on the beach. You can watch the sunrise and sunset from the same spot. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was amazing. The atmosphere is super chilled. There are so many places to chill with loungers, swings, cuddle sofas, tables and chairs. You can pick seating with or without cushions in the shade or the sun. Free drinking water. Free breakfast, including a packed breakfast to go on my last day. Collected and dropped off at the ferry. Laundry service. A/C Lovely clean beach."

"My bed was hard and lumpy. They did provide me with an extra comforter and I slept on the quilt but I would suggest they replace the mattress. Breakfast was the same every day (apart from the fresh fruit). Could do with a bit of variation. If you pay by card there is a 4% fee on top. Food is served between given times which is plenty long enough but between end of lunch and evening meal times there isn't any service."
