"Lovely place. Everything you need for a couple of days. Quiet neighbourhood. Nice view from kitchen window."

"Probably a cat was sitting on the bench in the kitchen some time before we checked in – quite a lot of hair. Not a problem for us but make sure to tell the owner when you're allergic."

"I arrived a little early, and was able to get access shortly after. The bath was amazing and those extra fluffy white towels were so soft."

"Lovely little self contained flat with separate bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. Amazing view from the kitchen, very convenient for visiting the local area."

"Nicely decorated apartment, kitchen with all you need to cook, comfy bed."

"No oil in the kitchen, blinds in the bed room not great so lots of lights was coming trough. Hot water must be very rich in sulphurs, my jewellery stained after shower and it never happened before around Iceland (better to remove them)."

"We kept forgetting things in our vehicle and it was not convenient walking back and forth in front of the big windows from the apartment next door. If you remember to bring all your stuff the first time, this won't be a problem for you."

"We loved everything about the house. The beds were very comfortable and the living room has the most amazing view to the outside, perfect for seeing the northern lights (which we saw and they were beautiful). Having a complete laundry space was also very helpful and the hosts provided everything we needed for a nice stay. The host's dog became our friend since we arrived and it was lovely."

"The road to Tálknafjörður is absolutely stunning. We drove all around Iceland, but for us, nothing beats the road from Búðardalur to Tálknafjörður. Tálknafjörður is very tranquil, small and relaxed. The guesthouse is relaxed, spacious, well maintained (our host was even repainting it as we were there). He is a very polite, calm man, happy to give some tips for the area. I believe there is a beautiful 10km hike near the house, but with the heavy snow, we decided against it. Absolutely worth the stay!"
