"We had the most amazing time at the Vera Sunset Homestay. Phonephet and his family are very friendly and the island is perfect for a few days off the beaten path. You can just relax in your hammock all day or explore the rural island and play football with the village kids. The food was very good and fresh. The standard of the bungalows is basic and in line with the price. Definitely one of our highlights in hole SOA and we can't wait to come again!"

"Everything was amazing, from each and every point of view. It's the type of accommodation you'd chose again and again. Josie is the best host someone could ask for - she is very attentive to the guests and always prepared to help or to recommend places for maximising the experience of tourists. The place overall and the room were not only super clean and comfortable (I literally slept like a baby, haha), but equipped with all the necessary things for a great stay. "This property and the owners, are now our favorite in Martinique. We were welcomed after a long day of travel. The owners kindly left us fruit, coffee, juice and a baguette for breakfast with the local tasty guave jam. So thoughtful. The house provided good size rooms, very comfortable Caribbean chairs, nice large bed, and wonderful outdoor seating with lush greenery, meticulously cared for, outside. To sit and have coffee and watch hummingbirds and others, while we looked at many kinds of tropical flowers was a great experience daily. Everything we wanted and needed in the house was at our fingertips. So much Martinique charm! We highly recommend to anyone visiting Martinique. And a short drive to the beaches, Jardin Balata, and top things to see on the island."

"After being welcomed at the jetty we received a wet towel, tasty sandwiches and a refreshing drink. The staff was super friendly and we also liked the island, the room and the breakfast. We got water every day and beach towels."

The shower is open, so the bathroom gets wet every time you shower.

"The room was comfortable and the bed was nice and soft. It's a great place to chill out for a day or two away from all the tourists and you can see a more local side of Aruba. Ac and wifi worked really well and you could use the kitchen for coffee. Jay and his dog were really helpful and friendly."

You’re very easy going, offered delicious home made banana yoghurt bread for breakfast and for the dinner conversations also ♥️ the place was a short 8 minute walk to the bus stop and it’s very conveniently located to the supermarket also."

"We were greeted by very friendly staff who showed us around. There was private parking under a carport with a gate, which was great. The shower had endless hot water without messing around with a boiler; quite rare in Bosnia! A 2 minute walk away was a small shop with essentials."

The bed wasn't very comfortable. The matress is very hard and the bed is noisy with every movement. Unfortunately, we didn't have a good sleep because of this.

My room was on the small side and only had a small window towards the kitchen. A power strip with schuko (eu) plugs would be a nice addition in the room.

"The place is a pure perfection, one of the rare occassions where photos don't do the hotel justice. The cabanas are few and set in a beautiful green garden. Our cabana was beautifully decorated, there's a small kitchen with all necessary amnities, a bathroom with hot water, comfy bes and a terrace to relax on while waiting for a rain shower to pass ;) If you're a type of traveler who prefers tranquility, I urge you to stay on Carenero, while visiting Bocas del Toro. It's a short (1min, 1$) drive with a water taxi from Bocas Town and one will come to pick you up as soon as you set your foot on pier. The hotel is only 3min walk from the nearest pier."

It was perfect, by far the nicest place I've ever stayed in during my travels. Has a kind of a honeymoon vibe to it. I wish Booking offered a higher grade for places which exceed all others. 11/10 :)

"Staff were very friendly and werw available for any kind of help. Cleanliness was also good enough including bathrooms. Price was very reasonable. And the location was also on very good spot, kind of centre location to visit the important places in beirut. The highlight were the staff and their behavior. It was a pleasant experience in that hotel."

Just little bit of issue in internet but we only spent night time at the hotel so was not that much of a problem.

"Mohammad and Heba are great hosts! Communication in English is easy, and Heba provides most delicious traditional palestinian and jordanian food at dinner. Being on a hike without car, I strongly depended on their perfect organiziation of transfers. Sections of the Jordan Trail, and the holy mountain Tell Mar Elias are nearby and beautifully covered by flowers in spring. The guesthouse is conveniently located between the Ajloun Forest Reserve which is in hiking distance, and the old city of Ajloun with its magnificent castle. I had initially intended a short visit here, and finally stayed almost a week."

"There was much to like about our stay - the room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a good shower. The location - a short drive from the main Belle Mare beach and not too far from the main regional hub of Flacq (with its twice weekly market and also Super-U for those who prefer more modern facilities) - was good and the walk from the accommodation to the dining area through an abundance of local floral was a delight. But biggest praise must go to owners Roshan and Sang (and their son Kite) who were so warm and welcoming - they made each guest feel like a VIP, nothing was too much trouble for them and the food (breakfast and dinner) freshly prepared by Sang each day was varied but always delicious. We had a wonderful stay with no complaints whatsoever. Well, actually, just one - we never did get to see Roshan feeding the Dodo."

Absolutely enjoyed our stay. loved listening to her speak of her children. the love in her eye's that that shows for her children and moko's that live in Aotearoa when speaking of them. As well as her belated husband. Thank you so much for everything and opening up your home and making us feel like family I will always remember the aroha that you have shown us whilst our visit to Rarotonga. "Alfa is a very friendly host who will help you with all he can without any opportunistic motives. His place is clean and welcoming. Large and tasty breakfast included. The dinner they cooked for us was absolutely delicious, we loved the Peulh cheese! And all this at a very good price - great value for money. Very funny for us Belgians to be welcomed in Dutch :-)"

The surroundings of the house are not really beautiful, but we stayed here as an overnight stop between Cotonou and the Tanéka villages.

"Incredibly peaceful location, use of free bikes made exploring the surrounding area so fun including excellent restaurants nearby. Just the perfect place to relax outside of town. Lots of hammocks etc to pass the time in, but the room was also very comfortable."
