"The staff was very friendly, helpful & efficient Lots of good places to eat, supermarket with imported goods & sundry shops all at walking distance There's a mini refrigerator, ironing board & washing machine for such a good price!"

The only drawback was the heater kept switching off & I had to get the staff to turn it on a few times

"From an airport bus stop, it was a long distance to the villa to walk along a road with a luggage! I was grateful that after a lot of struggle on my own, I contacted the owner, he met me and drove in his car to their property"

I liked the place. It was good for having a rest from busy places and enjoying the peace and beauty of a small village near the sea. It was hard to rely on public transport. If you have your car, then everything should be great

"This is the best place where you can stay! It's clean and comfortable and maybe not in the very center town but you meet a very nice , friendly and lovely family. In Italy we say "you find a friend, you find a treasure", this is what you're going to live."

When it was raining a bit water dripping inside from roof. But it’s ok bcs I think that’s drawback from the building design.

I read reviews complaining about lighting which I found sufficient and about duvet and for me was also ok despite being August because of air-con."

The only problem I found was the toilet floor getting get after shower. I have been in some guest houses like this and they offer sandals which saves the problem.

Měli jsme to trochu dál od Velké pláže a začátek Velké pláže je přeplněný turisty, tak jsme museli každý den jezdit autem. Ke starému městu také daleko. Ale bylo to blízko k hezké skalnaté části a živé ulici na začátku Velké pláže. V ubytování mne překvapila společná kuchyň, ale nakonec jsme si zvykli a byla možnost poznat i naše sousedy, hehe. 👍🏻

"The big windows in one room. The other room had no windows though, though this made it a lot quieter than the room with windows overlooking the car park. The woman who cooked breakfast was always so friendly and nice."

THE TOILET IS IN THE ROOM. there is room for a door, but not a door. There is no privacy. It’s overlooking a car park. It’s super noisy. No cleaning or refreshing the room during your stay. Told us the front desk closed at 5.30pm late morning of the day we were due to arrive.

"Our group of 20 had an absolutely wonderful stay at Stellas in Ziemupe. The holiday home exceeded our expectations, with 10 spacious bedrooms that perfectly accommodated each couple. The jacuzzi was a fantastic addition, and having a private beach just 400 meters away was a dream! We spent a beautiful day and night enjoying the peaceful surroundings and watching a stunning sunset by the sea. The two kitchens, one large and one smaller, made meal preparations easy and seamless for our group. "Although a 30-40 minute bus ride from Chania town, Summer Lodge is a Fantastic place if you want to be away from the busy places. A peaceful and pretty hotel with a Lovely vibe...There are places nearby to get food and drink and the mostly deserted beach is just a few minutes walk away. The bus stops are close by also - So nothing was ever too much effort. The owners of the property were kind, chatty and helpful. And last but not least the two cats at the hotel were a Joy to be around !! If I get the chance to go back to Chania I would definitely stay at this hotel again !9"

Being near the main road, although handy can be a bit noisy at times but it never bothered me too much. The individual refrigerator in the room was very noisy and I did wake up to it a couple of times.

I think the aesthetics could be improved. A bit of love into gardening and the outdoor settings for the guests.

"We had such a lovely time at Nena House with Francoise as a welcoming hostess for our travel group of 4 adults and 6 kids (9-16). Being in touch with Francoise while planning the trip was very pleasant and professional. It was very nice she checked out dinner plans on the day we arrived before hand. The traditional houses are a delight, clean and with mosquito nets. The facilities are basic, and fine. The neighbor bar is nice for some festive vibes and a drink. The food is delicious. Eating breakfast in the garden with the beautiful view on the Rwandan hills is like paradise. Francoise is very kind in informing about local walks and in our case we where lucky enough to be there while there was a yearly harvest festival. She offered to go with us. We will never forget the experience of seeing the ceremony and traditional dancing and meeting some people in the village. If you plan a visit or are traveling through Ruhashia (near Kings Palace) we can highly recommend Nenas house!"

The road towards the accommodation may be a challenge for light weight cars, but -definitely with 4 wheel drives- if you take it easy it is doable and worth it!

Ideally located to visit tourist attractions within reasonable radius. Piggs Peak town 1km away and provides all necessary shops, fuel stations and off course a KFC."

"Wonderful apartment. Clean, comfortable, stylish. Large parking. Very friendly host. He even served us a light breakfast, which is rare for an apartment. The only thing I would add is a microwave in addition to the electric grill in the apartment, but that's a minor detail. I would recommend this apartment to my friends."
