"We had this wonderful villa experience. Lots of space inside. Loved the porch dining and morning views from the kitchen. Town was close by and able to walk to if desired.. There's lots to see in this area... lighthouse walk, beaches, town square, little shops. Great intro to Corsica."

"It was an absolute privilege to stay in such a beautiful property, obviously very recently refurbished throughout to a very high standard. So many lovely touches to make it really homely. The site was previously a country retreat holiday park and many of the units now seem to be weekend retreats for the owners. The ones we spoke to were very friendly. The situation was very quiet and partly overlooked the lake. The grounds are very well kept with beautiful, mature trees. Marie is a delight, even setting the bookshelf calendar correctly! It was a short hop to St Omer and 30-40 minutes to Calais / Dunkirk. Located in the Audomarois Marsh region, a Unesco designated biosphere, with oodles of lovely walks and staggering numbers of flora and fauna species."

"The Bocagere d'Henri was situated on the edge of the village, with lovely views all around. It was very peaceful and the quiet was broken by bird song. Indeed lots of varieties of birds, including swallows, Green woodpeckers, Spotted Flycatchers, Redstarts, Common Chiffchaff, Buzzards, Pigeons, and Jackdaws to name a few that we saw and heard. The field beside the house had 14 yearling Norman cattle in it, who were a delight. The house was well presented, clean, lots of kitchen equipment, some brand new. We look forward to going back there. The garden was lovely and well maintained."
