"The front desk staff were particularly welcoming and helpful. My first night, I arrived in the evening and the AC wasn't working. My stay could have been a disaster! Instead, the next day the staff switched me to a larger room with working AC, and a sea view. I was very appreciative, since I had three more nights at the hotel. The location in the old quarter was great."

"Breakfast overall was good, with a lovely sea view -- but think they need a few more cooks in the kitchen. The scrambled eggs were always disappearing... You had to watch the servers come in with a fresh batch and make your move quickly! Based on my room, I'd say the hotel is in a need of a refresh: small, dated bathroom, wood floors starting to lift. Nonetheless, my overall impression was still very positive."

"One of the very best Hostel I ve been to. Cozy and very clean, great position in a good neighborhood. Montevideo is a walkable city so from there you can go anywhere. 10 stars to the staff too, extremely friendly, ready to help and give advices. Great social area, all the guests are in good vibes, thanks to the general good vibes of the Hostel. If you re going to Montevideo, this is the Hostel you should pick."
