"The family that runs this Pansion was very kind, from the very beginning till we left the place. They showed us a map and gave directions to S. James Church and other places to visit, which was very useful. They made us a delicious dinner late at night, and a home style breakfast. They are a very welcoming family, Thank you!"

There was an initial problem with payment to secure the booking. Our French is very poor & it was difficult to communicate with staff on the phone & by email. Some black mould in the wardrobe.

The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ok and you could also order some food for lunch at a good price. Manja is an excellent cook and prepares local specialties. Internet was mostly ok. The pool was clean and a very relaxing place to spend time."

Sometimes a problem with taxis. Some of them don't know this place. You have to negotiate the price which can be very diffrent. (from 100 to 500 dalasies).

Bathroom has mouldy smell, so needs to open window for ventilation. The building doesn’t have elevator, so if you have big luggage, it will be an issue to move your luggage.

some rooms dont have window and that really does not work for me. They were very acvommodating and let us pick another room.

"If I were the Michelin commissioner, I would award Happy Villa with three stars: Worth for an independent tour. This place has everything, plus your host will make you feel at home. Our stay was simply too short to enjoy all the options this accommodation offers. It is also positioned well for island exploration. Oh, and not mentioning superb breakfast starting with a healthy shot. You will be in good hands and with a full stack of options for every day of exploration of charming Dominica."

"Essa foi a melhor estadia q ja fiquei em São Paulo, a marli é um amor, seu esposo tbm é super receptivo, o quarto é bem confortável e muito limpo, o banheiro tbm é muito limpo, a casa é aconchegante e familiar, sem falar na localização q é ótima, próximo ao mercado e ao metrô. The lighting outside the room, in the halls, was not dimmed during the night. The rooms have coloured glass windows/ doors so was difficult for sleeping during the night.

"Modern, clean, self contained with bedrooms having on-suite bathrooms which also provided convenience and privacy. minimalistic though everything you expect from a hotel accommodation/apartment we had , elements from the spa were also included dressing, gowns and slippers, beach towels. The property was great and Saritas daily fresh bread made breakfast delicious . Sadly Sharron only arrived at the end of our stay she was a mine of local knowledge and would have been great to tap into

"Basically evertyhing. I was traveling alone in off-season. I've been there alone so I got the whole house for myself. The breakfast served in full with many options like the place was full, that was amazing."

"The apartment was spacious, lots of parking space, and the hosts were very nice and helpful. We loved the ski boots heater as well."

The shuttle bus stop was not close as we were led to believe. We were told that it was few minutes away, which may be true when you go downhill and without skiis, but with ski boots on and carrying skiis it is not an easy climb up or down at all. We ended up driving to the lifts which wasn't a huge problem since parking space was usually available especially if you go early in the morning. Also don't forget to bring soap, toilet paper, paper towels and spices if you intend to cook.
