Network was poor but I can't blame the guesthouse it's was also everywhere I went in Mozambique.

La habitación me sorprendió gratamente: además de ser muy bonita y luminosa, resultó muy cómoda y estaba equipada con una cocina que tenía todo lo necesario para preparar mis comidas. La piscina es amplia y agradable, ideal para relajarme después de pasar el día en la playa. Sin duda, lo que más destaco son las vistas increíbles que hicieron mi estancia aún más especial. "The apartment was clean, stylish, and comfortable with excellent facilities including a kitchen, microwave, fridge and freezer, widescreen TV with Sky, lovely big sliding door with great views over Gib, as well as access to a pool and gym, with a Costa coffee in the foyer. It’s in a great location near some very nice restaurants such as Rendezvous, The Lounge, Monique’s, and Cafe Pepe (fabulous fish!) and a short walk to a nice tapas wine bar, Main Street, Casemates Square and only 20 mins walk to the cable car. The added bonus is being next door to Morrisons- we don’t want to eat out all the time so it is very convenient to have bread, cheese, salad, and wine on the doorstep. All the staff are incredibly nice, with a special mention for Kristina who gave us a really amazing room! I’ve been here for work many times, this is the first holiday we’ve ever had here and I highly recommend staying at Atlantic Suites - for a perfect holiday apartment."

"The place is wonderful! Spacious, very clean, and well-maintained. The area is beautiful and quiet, with all shops very close by. The hosting family is so kind, and we truly felt at home. The neighbors in the neighborhood are also very friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more pleasant. The garden and outdoor space are just perfect. There is also a dining hall and a fully equipped kitchen that we used for a barbecue, plus bathrooms available on the ground floor near the kitchen and dining area. Everything was simply perfect and made our vacation safe and amazing. A big thank you for the warm hospitality!"

"The apartment was stocked with many basic food items: Bread, butter, margarine, tea, instant coffee, salt, pepper, sugar, juice, milk, coke, and snacks, to the best of my memory. This was essential because we arrived at 3:00 AM and had to be ready for a tour at 6:00 AM. Also, some of that is expensive to buy when you must leave it behind if you are only there a few days. We liked that there was a security guard there and the building and area felt safe. Laundry facilities."

"Location and view from balcony of the sea and Orient Bay amazing, sit and watch the sunrise. Walk along the beach to restaurants and bars in the day and evening. Linda was there to greet us, very friendly and helpful. Apartment clean and comfortable. Small shop onsite for bread etc, everyone friendly lots of wild life, birds, bearded dragons and donkeys!"

"The hotel across the road where you check in and where breakfast is served is gorgeous with antiques all around you. The apartment was also beautifully decorated, spacious, clean and comfortable. It had a washing machine and the heating dried everything really quickly. The staff were lovely, they stored our luggage before check-in and ordered us a taxi to the train station when we were leaving. The breakfast was delicious and had a wide selection of foods. Yoghurts and juices were in glass containers, no plastic anywhere. Fantastic and really thoughtfully done. The location in Gamla Stan, just a few steps from the royal palace and Storkyrkan was ideal. I'd recommend getting a cab from the train station in winter if you have heavy luggage. The walk from the metro station is a challenge with the cobbles and snow. But the location is truly worth the effort."

"We love the area, close to the ocean, the view is fantastic. We lived in Trou deau Douce 25 years ago at Valmarin. It was wonderful to be back and these apartments has so much potential, but unfortunately it’s not taking care of. The cleaning lady was very kind."

The apartments weren’t cleaned when we arrived. The underfloor apartment was full of black mold. The pool is not taking care of. No sunbeds. You could easily do a quick renovation, do some painting and take care of these apartments and it would be wonderful. Now we love this area and has lot of friends in Trou deau Douce so we wanted to stay there. We had no contact with the owners, they didn’t answer us, but the housekeeper/cleaning lady was nice and answered, she come and clean when we asked for it.

I did not understand it when booking, but our room had shared Bathroom and toilet, but it was fine, as there were no other people on the floor except us. Unfortunately the windows in our room are not openable. Even with existing ventilation and side fan it felt abit stuffy in the room.
