"Everything was easy with the team at Sky Lodge. From pick up at wharf, payment after we settled into our rooms, to clean and spacious room, Wi-Fi, air conditioning and fly/mosquito screens on the doors and windows made it easy to sleep at night. It was close to everything yet peaceful and quiet. Much preferred this place then Emerald. Would definitely book here again and have my whole family stay here."

"The location was next to a very busy and noisy road and the curtains were very light so it was difficult to sleep until the traffic quietened down late at night. One night 5 trucks went by between 0100-0300 in the morning. We woke up early each morning due to the light curtains"

"The place is well situated across the road from the shore, with a beautiful view of the sea from our upstairs balcony. A pleasant walk along the coast towards town, but quite a long way. We liked the large well furnished room. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There is an excellent small restaurant next door."

"The Manager, Uliti was there to greet us. Uliti is a lovely host and also provided a day tour of Tongatapu including the major sites and importantly food. Because it was a personalised tour, we had as much or as little time at each location. This was a separate cost to the accommodation. If your stay includes a Sunday, be sure to 'stock up' as pretty much everything is closed. The driver of the transfer kindly stopped at a grocery store on the Saturday of our arrival to let us purchase a few things. Sky Lodge is a 25 min walk from Faua Wharf, where one of the activities we wanted to do was and only 5 minutes walk to Ancient Tonga, but an hour into town. Uliti was lovely enough to drop us in and pick us up at the Talamahu Market and we spent time there and had a little walk around the town centre."

"The shower - not sure if this is the little heating unit or something else, but the water went scolding hot and then cold. We do not take long (over 5min) showers."

"TV not working. Road a bit busy at times. Mould in bathroom in places, little ants,, broken tiles. No staff there when we arrived so a bit confusing. We had told them arrival time but they had it wrong."
