"This was my first time staying at Sonja's. It's a great location if you've got an early morning flight out of Suriname. It's about 5 minutes away from the airport (by car). The hosts are very pleasant and transport services to the airport are provided for a small fee. I received a very warm welcome upon my arrival. The room was very comfortable. It's a good place to stay when in transit."

"Excellent place for arriving late at the airport or flying early - the owners will arrange your pick up/drop off. Note - Paramaribo centre can be a long drive from the airport (the traffic can be very bad!) so Sonja's can be a great option. We ate there in the evening and it was delicious food. Owners were very friendly and welcoming."

"Sonja and Henri are very nice hosts, the guesthouse is really close to the airport and they can do the shuttle for you on demand (10$ per shuttle). The place is clean, the breakfast good and you can eat in the evening for 10$ amazing meals if you ask 1 day before."
"We spend 2 night there (one before our trip, one after), the first one were very noisy (people on the phone at 2am) and the insulation of the room is aweful... But the second night was perfect without any noises so i guess it append sometimes, depend on the guests"
