The nearest grocery store and restaurant is just a short drive away.

"The Location is perfect for Northern light, direct facing the mountain and no light pollution. There has a balcony from the living room, may enjoy the aurora through the window or just step outside to take pictures."

"Our 2-night stay at the hut was spectacular. The location right at the fjord is one of the most spectacular ones you could ever imagine. The lovely interior and the small terrace with amazing views over the water made it absolutely perfect - rain or shine! Staying there was a truly magical experience and we're glad we had decided to treat ourselves for those 2 nights."

"Excellent location, very private balcony with exceptional views, really clean and cosy cabin. Great location with several places to eat within walking distance. Loved all the features like the little hut bathroom and boat in the ceiling. We had a lovely stay!"

"A fantastic setting with a brilliant view. 5 min walk to Anita’s seafood and 5 mins the other way to the Hamnoy bridge for the best view in Lofoten. Beautiful and very comfortable inside ."

"This place needs manuals for how things worked. We had to google how to use the wood stove. It also needs a microwave as when you’re self catering so much of what’s available needs one."

"On an idyllic Arctic island just a few km outside Reine. A compact but comfortable room which includes a kitchen. There is a great cafe in Reine - Bringenkaffe - for breakfast and some good restaurants on the adjacent island, which you can walk to from your Rorbu."

"This will probably be the most instagramable place you stay all year. Beautiful whiteboard house on a pier overlooking the fjord. The pier itself is covered in kittiwakes and great for birdwatching. Very stylish, light filled interior. We were there in midsummer but I imagine it would also be very cosy in winter. Good well stocked kitchen with lots of pans and utensils but also basic ingredients like spices etc. Good bathroom. This place was rebuilt by two families and is a real labour of love. A lovely place to spend a few days exploring the surrounding area."

"The lady at the reception was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. There was a quite good fast food restaurant across the street. The cabin was nice and suited my needs."

"On my first night I stayed in the dorm, which I only recommend if you are a young student. However, on my other days I stayed in the private room and that was really great! The private rooms have their own kitchen area that turned out to be a great place for me to relax after a full day of activities. It felt like I had my own little apartment in Trondheim for a couple days. Staff is also very friendly and helpful. They recommended the Havet sauna 15 min walk from the hostel (a must!!). Will come back if I return to Trondheim!"

"The apartments were spacious and clean. They had enough kitchen facilities to prepare simple meals. Though the hot water is limited, it was certainly enough for a nice shower for two people. The apartment we got was not centrally located but, if you are in good physical condition and do not carry large luggage, it can be reached by foot."
