"It was a quiet even though it’s close to city centre in Marrakesh"

"We had a problem with the shower, with no pressure at all, many leaks. The consierge tried to help but he couldn't and as there were no other available rooms we had no option for showering. I managed to fix it up enough for us to shower but it took a long time. Not many toiletries. The bathroom got soaked! Other than that would stay again!"

"The room seemed like it was turned from a pigeon loft into a room. The lady who took us to the room even seemed embarresed when opening the door. When opening the door there was about 20 cm between door and bed to walk. The iron door had a gap of a few centimeters to let cold air in when closed. Tiles were so old even when cleaned they just looked dirty. Tiny wardrobe to put a bag and about 1 square metre of space left before the shower. Air conditioning blew a bit of warm air when standing front of it, but room was ice cold. Had to sit underneath blanket to keep warm. Shower had hot water, but the taped electrical plug right next to it made me a little worried about getting electrocuted while using shower. We actually thought about sleeping outside on the terrace rather than in the gravetomb, but that would have been even colder. The room measures about 7.5 square metres max. Not 18 as advertised."

"The staff were so incredibly friendly and met me at the end of the road as it is not the easiest place to find, they also made sure to walk me to my taxi (which they had organised) when I was leaving. The breakfast in the morning was beautiful and slightly different both days which I enjoyed! A nice combination of jams and spreads along with traditional Moroccan bread, served with tea/coffee, orange juice and water. The option to eat outside is also lovely (although Moroccan mornings and evenings in Feb can be a little chilly) The room was spacious and clean and the staff were very attentive to make sure everything was organised. This Riad is great value for money and a 15 min walk to the Jemaa el-Fnaa medina, which is almost a straight road the whole way, so very easy to find!"
"This was not a problem for me, but as this is a riad, the noise "can" be a little loud at night, as you are sharing a property with others, almost in the style of sharing bedrooms in a house, so be aware of this."
