"The owner was super welcoming from the moment I got there. They helped me with my bags and even gave me tips for things to do around the city, even though I was only staying one night. It was really chill and peaceful at the place. The rooms were perfect, and honestly, it's the best spot I've stayed at for this price."

"Great Stay for the Price! Stayed one night at Melvila Resort and had a great experience. The staff was very kind, even allowing a late checkout without any issue. The room was good for the price, with reliable hot water, though the water pressure was a bit low. The bed was slightly old and made some noise, but overall, the stay was comfortable. Will definitely return when visiting Kelaniya Rajamaha Viharaya!"

"It's just off the main road but feels secluded The bedroom was comfortable and spacious with bathroom and loo attached. Quiet AC. Owner and family all charming and helpful We ate good Sri Lankan curry and rice in their house and a lovely breakfast of string hoppers and sweet hoppers eggs and Dal. And mangoes and bananas from their own garden. Delicious! They are currently building a swimming pool outside the chalet bedrooms so the view not great currently but will be excellent once pool is finished and landscaped"
