"The lady who owned the house was very kind and helpful, the breakfast was delicious with a variety of options.The accommodation is in a very quiet and beautiful area, perfect for relaxing amidst farms. It was a lovely experience staying with this kind lady."

"Nothing much, but perhaps there are some insects, which is normal given the area.But the lady brought an insect repellent item and it was very useful."

"We loved our stay here. The room was clean and WiFi was very good. Our host was welcoming and friendly and cooked up a delicious fish, vegetable and salad dinner. The breakfasts were good and perfect before a day at the beach. The location was a 15 minute walk from the train station but very close to the beach. There was even a body board that you could take to the beach if you wanted to. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay in Bentota."

"Large spacious room, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, everything new. Very nice and helpful family manages this guesthouse. They serve delicious breakfast and dinner. Local cuisine. I will definitely come back to them."

"Excellent location - lovely pool. Rooms were comfortable with great balcony overlooking pool and lake. We loved watching the fishermen at night in the lake. Great boat tour which we certainly recommend. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The manager, Sajith, was very professional, friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend this place"

"Very comfortable and clean room. We have been thankful for the cattle and the supply of tea bags/sugar in our room :⁠-⁠). The host has been so nice and handed over his charger for my mobile phone as I didn't bring any adapter with me. Another plus point was, that we could easily find shops for daily use nearby and little restaurants to have lunch/dinner as well. The zoo is also very close by, even it's makeable to walk by foot. We also could walk to the next nearest junction and catch the city busses. We really enjoyed this place with its many positive facts and are highly recommending this place."

"This little gem is right at the beach, at walking distance to the busstation and within the Dutch ford quarter is great! Destroyed by the tsunami but rebuild by the very friendly owner, it has a nice sitting area, a simple kitchen and the sound of the waves in your ears, very relaxing.
