Nestled in Hikkaduwa, Appolo Hotel provides simple accommodation within 5 metres from the beach. WiFi is free in the public areas of the hotel. The hotel is situated approximately a 3-hour drive from the Colombo International Airport. Airport shuttle services can be arranged at an additional charge. All air-conditioned rooms are simply furnished with tiled flooring and come with en suite bathroom offering shower facility. Hotel Appolo has a tour desk that can assist guests with sightseeing and travel arrangements. Currency exchange is also available for guests' convenience.

"Comfy room with a fridge. Right on the beach with plenty of restaurants nearby. Staff very friendly and stored our bags after check out."
"Not quite a sea view but did have chairs outside the room. Access to beach is by squeezing past tables in the restaurant which was a little strange."

"We had such a good, memorable time here. Taken very well care of by Manju (the owner), we enjoyed a very comfortable stay in the wild, off the beaten track, with beautiful nature all around us. The food was delicious and filling, vegetarian and vegan diets catered for completely. They lit us a fire one night and we enjoyed dinners by candlelight every night. The beds were super comfy and the large hut that we stayed in was very spacious - good for all bags and clothes. Manju organised our safari day and our trip to a local beach. He was ready to meet our every need and was very kind and friendly with our children too."

Our half day (evening) Safari guided by Nikki was great and we noted that most other vehicles in block A didn’t have a guide and hence struggled to spot wildlife. Some food was very good - especially the curries at lunch. We loved the set up for the dinner by the bonfire. Rooms were cleaned thoroughly."
