"Great Sri Lankan breakfast, pool area was lovely and relaxing place after a day of wandering, Short walk to the beach. One of the best things was Gayan organised a morning river cruise for us to check out the local wildlife and then served late breakfast once we returned. Very easy to get to Hikkaduwa and Mirrissa as well as walking distance to Galle (about 25 mins). Peaceful location, No noise except for monkeys and birds."

"We loved our stay at Ging View Villa which is run by a lovely family and very helpful staff. Booked for 2 nights and stayed for 6. The setting is very quiet and peaceful. The room was large with a good shower and lovely balcony. The pool area was partly under trees so plenty of shade and we enjoyed watching the monkeys in the trees nearby. Breakfast was good, also the dinners we had, home cooked and tasty. Would highly recommend this guest house which is by the beach a few minutes by Tuc Tuc from Galle Fort. Pradeep was available with his Tuc Tuc to bring us wherever we wanted at a very good price."

"Great place to stay with friendly and helpful hosts. Located very close to Galle, the villa is in a quiet side street with a wonderful pool and garden area. The rooms are well equipped and spacious. Would definitely stay here again"

"Fantastic Sri Lankan breakfasts on the 2 mornings we were there. Good size fridge for a short stay. Room felt secure and was very clean. Comfortable bed and good shower."

"We liked the relaxing atmosphere. A lovely pool and garden. We liked the tuktuk trips - Pradeep was always on stand by and always happy and funny. Lovely food. Nice to have a hot shower for a change! A great stay."

"We came for 5 days and stay for 3 weeks! This place is very quiet, you will not hear the cars on the road and will hear only the waves and the birds. You can go by walk to Coconut beach without cross any main road. There are rooms with AC and kitchen inside. Shani is so kind, every thing that we asked we got with big smile. "An amazing location, next to the most peaceful and laid back beaches we had on our trip. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and some of the best cooks we met on our trip. The host cooked for us on our first night and we were amazed with the quality of the food, one of the most memorable dishes in a 3 week trip. The breakfast was also fresh and delicious everyday. We absolutely loved the location and it was the perfect tranquil stop in between more busy places. Its easily walkable to Tangalle and we rented bikes to explore up and down the coast which we would recommend. We had one day of heavy rain and the power went out for a few hours and the hosts brought us candles and juices to our room and were always attentive to us throughout our stay. The garden is beautiful"

"We arrived late at night from the airport. The owner was waiting for us with refreshments. Everything was inviting and clean. Huge shower and soft new towels. The bed was big with comfortable mattresses and linens. AC was powerful and quiet. We are strict vegetarians, and the owner happily complied to all our requests and arranged the breakfast to suit our needs. We booked the safari through the place and it was really great. It's all about the networking of the drivers: our guide was getting phone calls from his colleagues and knew exactly where to drive to see the latest spotted animals. All with full respect towards the animals, without troubling them. I've never been so close to an elephant, not even at the zoo 😀 Thank you!"
