"The hospitality from the proprietors was outstanding. From the moment we arrived we were make to feel so welcome. The view from the room was just breathtaking and its just a 10 min walk from downtown Ella, and oh yes the breakfast was exceptional. And be sure to leave your mark on the visitors wall in the restaurant."

"The hospitality in this place and service is absolutely unbelievable. So caring and friendly. Rooms were amazing and the view is incredible. Best view I’ve ever seen from my bedroom. Very close to the Main Street in Ella and is only a 10 minute walk or plenty of Tuk tuks available. They really make you feel at home and part of their family."

"The awesome view overlooking a jungle valley with waterfall opposite in a big airy bedroom with balcony . The owner was most welcoming and caring . He ordered in dinner for us and served it beautifully on their verandah dining area ."

The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. The staff are lovely people who offer genuinely warm and attentive service — they even surprised me with a birthday cake, which truly warmed my heart. They also kindly arranged my transfer to Habaraduwa for a very reasonable price. A beautiful stay with thoughtful touches that make it extra special. 💛"

"Definitely one of the best homestays we‘ve ever had! The room is tidy, beautiful and cozy. Feels like more expensive than it actually is. The view is stunning. The hosts are so friendly and helped us with everything. They offer a lot of services and the breakfast is the best. Fruits, pancakes, local food and great coffee. I would recommend this place for everyone who’s visiting Ella. The shops and restaurants are also close by. Thank you very much for the great time 🫶"

"We had such a good, memorable time here. Taken very well care of by Manju (the owner), we enjoyed a very comfortable stay in the wild, off the beaten track, with beautiful nature all around us. The food was delicious and filling, vegetarian and vegan diets catered for completely. They lit us a fire one night and we enjoyed dinners by candlelight every night. The beds were super comfy and the large hut that we stayed in was very spacious - good for all bags and clothes. Manju organised our safari day and our trip to a local beach. He was ready to meet our every need and was very kind and friendly with our children too."

The food was the best we experienced in Sri Lanka by far and having the ability to visit the bigger sister hotel whenever we needed a change of scenery was perfect.
