"The caretaker was cooperative and easy to reach out. He also offered complimentary tea."

"Wifi signals were very low in my room. I used data inside room and wifi in common room. Comforter also was quite thin as nights were cold after rain."

"The staff gentleman is very kind and helpful. I bought pineapple and need to cut a sclean. He helped me prepared dish, water, knife, and even some salt and Sri Lanka spice. He is so considerate."

"The most wonderful host, Wasantha. Talked with us about everything, helped organise our stay, provided tasty breakfasts! The room is clean and A/C worked well :) very pleasant and more than affordable stay! We actually felt like henreally cared about us more than about making a living. Exceptional."

"Nice room with comfy bed and a clean (!) bathroom. Very friendly and helpful owner who organised the Yala jeep safari which turned out to be amazing. I forgot to organise an early morning Tuktuk to the bus station when checking out, so the owner very kindly drive me to it at 5am, which is just so above and beyond expectations. Thank you. I stayed two nights and would highly recommend and would go back any time."

"It’s such a quiet and peaceful place by the beach, great for either the start or end of your holiday because it’s a 45min drive from the international airport. "We stayed just one night but wish we stayed for two. The view from the verandah of the bungalow is just spectacular – three stupas across the large lake in front of the property. The bungalow itself was very comfortable with just three bedrooms. We booked one room and since the other two rooms were unoccupied on that day, we had the whole place to ourselves. They have got new mattresses which were super comfortable. It’s not super-luxury but very tasteful and clean. The toilets are huge and with hot water. The bungalow keeper Mangala and his asst were also very helpful and made some delicious Sri Lankan food. Highly recommended."

"A nice cozy hotel viewing the ocean. View is really great, palm trees, swimming pool, the ocean. It's situated out of main street of hikkaduwa, about 7 min ride by tuk tuk. Bring your adapter for the charger or you can buy one on the shop across the street. Near there are 2 great restaurants that we can recommend: A2, and the coconut club. The personnel is very friendly, always ready to help! I can definitely recommend this hotel."
