"the view and the breakfast were stunning, also the bed was very comfortable."

"Unfortunately the pillows smelled moldy, so we only used one for us two from the second bed. The route to the city was a bit exhausting to drive, but after some times, you get used to it!"

"very nice hotel, it is a bit far from the city center, but the owner met us and gave us a ride in a tuk tuk. the special feature of the room is the view of nature and a waterfall and the windows completely replace the wall, so everything is visible and beautiful! in the room there is only the most necessary. we also liked the owners - a very nice family! breakfast is standard: fruits, eggs, bread, coffee or tea ☕️ we liked everything very much, the hotel for its money is a good option! thank you for the hospitality!"

"We had an incredible experience at Cascade Vally! The uncle and the entire family were extremely friendly, caring, and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Uncle took us on a city tour and charged us very reasonably. What truly touched our hearts was when he took our baby in his arms while hiking - his love and care for our little one were truly heartwarming! The food was decent, and they even accommodated our special request to prepare eggs for our baby at 6 AM! The rooms were cozy and comfortable, making our stay pleasant. The only drawback was the location, which is a bit far from Ella city, requiring a tuk-tuk ride. But that's a small price to pay for the warmth and hospitality we received. We highly recommend this home stay to anyone visiting Ella, especially families with little ones. Thank you, Uncle, for making our stay so special!"

"Stunning view on the waterfall from the room and the breakfast terrace:) nice peacock and amazing family, so nice and helpfull . Far away enough for staying quiet and at walking distance from the center, very nice shortcut along the Railway track. One of the best place for sure."

"Despite this amazing homestay, it's good to know that there is some animal's : mouse on the roof on the highest floor and also a noisy wind that can be disturbing during the first night."

"Staff were very attentive and friendly. Good location about a 5 minute walk to the center. I would stay here again if in the area. Good tasty food. They added nice homely touches including umbrellas which were needed when it was raining. Staff are very welcoming and happy to help with any questions we had. Helped us with booking taxis and giving us directions. Nice big balcony with good views."

"The ambience of this small heritage hotel and the very helpful management and staff were wonderful. The manager even helped us to get to a hospital for some medical assistance. He spent a good couple of hours with us to approach the right expert. Rooms were cleaned every day and sheets changed whenever required. The closeness of the town, the bus stand and the railway station made it very convenient to get around. Some nice eating places were also close by. Jaffna and the hospitality and friendliness of the people will be remembered. So will be the comfortable five-night stay in Old Park Villa."

"This was such a unique experience 🙏 Sumathi, the owner, is an incredibly kind person and made me feel completely at home. We often ate together, and he even cooked for me! He also took me to non-touristy places, which made the whole stay feel truly authentic. The house is located right along the beach, perfect for walks and beautiful sunset views. I loved relaxing on a sunbed in his beautiful garden under the palm trees. The Wi-Fi worked very well, and I could easily work remotely from here. Thank you for everything, Sumathi! 🙏"

"We stayed for one night, but we wish we could have stayed for a couple more. The room/small cabin was sooo cute! With a shower that had an open roof. We loved that the cabin was wooden, so it had none of that damp smell you get sometimes. The room was fresh and airy and the shower pressure was amazing! The place was tranquil and so picturesque. The beach was also close, so that was a nice bonus."
