"I stayed near Patuxai in Laos for about a week before coming here. Actually, there's nothing much around Patuxai. I had to take a taxi to the Mekong River every day, and I ended up finding that the taxi fare was more expensive than the accommodation. So I think this place is more convenient."

I also checked the hotels next door, and they were all around $100 a night. I only spent $5 but enjoyed the same hotel location – I think it's a great deal.
