"The host Anna was very helpful and friendly and shared a local homemade cake with us. The property facilities made us feel at home and we were able to cook for ourselves which was a pleasant change. The property had off street parking right in the middle of town and an easy 2 -3 minute walk to shops and resturants. Not far from the water view and walking track. We used the washing machine which was very handy."

"This house was extraordinary. Well-arranged with full information, responsive host. I could not found any to complaint with this house. I am sure to stay with this warm and cozy place again when I have a chance to come back Akureyri in the future."

"Very close to the harbour and town centre. Anna was an excellent host. Washing machine and dishwasher were a bonus."

"The apartment is very cozy, I felt like home! It is obvious that the owners thought every detail in the interior. It has everything you need and even more. Great location, a couple of minutes walk from the ocean and the center. Clear instructions for check-in. I would definitely come back again!"

"Great kitchen. Location from the city centre is perfect. There was a PS4 we could use for internet & video (Netflix etc). Good price/value"

"If you are a light sleeper you need to take ear plugs. The windows of the apartment are next to the street. One of the woks is not suitable for induction (was not recognized) but luckily there were enough pans."

"Cozy studio with all facilities equipped ! No matter laundry or dinging (there are 3 types of coffee machine :))) and it is near the main street in Akureyri!"

"Beautiful well equipped house in a stunning fjord location just out of Akureyri town. Cheerful lights of Akureyri town could be seen from one side of the property at night whilst the back bedroom balcony gave spectacular dark sky views of any Aurora. Glorious sauna just a step outside the back door. Very calm aura to the whole place. Jean Marc and his wife where fantastic hosts, there in a flash when needed and discretely out of sight when not. All in all a fabulous and highly recommended property."

"This was my second stay with this host, this time in the „Deluxe Apartment (3rd floor)”. It is a nice, spacious unit, well-equipped for longer stays (dishwasher, washing machine, etc.). Good location, within walking distance to the city center and shops. Comfy beds. WiFi works well. Smooth communication with the host. It was one of the better priced options for the dates considering the quality and location (still expensive but acceptable)."
