"Nice conceptual hostel run by two people who really want to welcome you to Bolivia."

My room was very cold. Even though the landlady turned on the heater earlier than she said she would, it still didn't help much.

"The staff were amazing! So friendly, and helpful. There was milk provided for the guests which was a bonus as I always bring tea bags with me, so saved me a walk to the shop. The location was brilliant and the hostel was very clean"

The only issue is that I’ve stayed in similar hostels, but the price was nowhere near as expensive. I know it’s in Zurich, but it’s still a hostel.

"The hostel is in the heart of Antwerp, it’s walkable distance from anywhere. We got access to our room very early which was a nice surprise. Our beds were comfortable and the shared spaces were alright. I liked the decor. Our stay came with a free breakfast, which was absolutely lovely. As fas as hostels go, this was a very pleasant experience."

My only gripe was again the location. Being that the hostel is in the very center, there was a lot of noise outside until the early hours of the morning. Again, not the hostel’s fault, just something to keep in mind.

"Great place to stay in Noukchott. The place itself is beautiful, and in a nice neighbourhood within walking distance to anything you'd want to see. The bungalows are cosy and comfortable. Great hot showers and good buffet breakfast. Contrary to some other uncharitable reviews, I found the young guys working there to be helpful and pleasant. Sebastien the owner gives great travel advice. 10/10, would repeat!"

"A place that has an old fashioned look with plenty of decorative wooden features. Bedrooms good. Kitchen OK. Bathroom good. Plenty of hot water. Very convenient location."

The tap at the kitchen is likking while open. Somw floor tales must be fixed. One of the light bulbs needs replacement.

"Doba and his family were exceptionally welcoming, outgoing, and fun. We spent three nights at chez doba, and went on two hikes each day, to different waterfalls, viewpoints, and villages. In the evening we played football with the children and drank beer and tea with the locals. Special shoutout to Amadou, our guide for our stay - a great guy! Highly highly highly recommend Campement Chez Doba to anyone visiting Senegal, its been the highlight of our trip. We also booked onto an extra trip with Doba to tour a nearby bedik village, which was very picturesque! Doba Tours also offers other tours around Senegal, including Dakar and Niocolo Koba National Park, which we didnt use, but heard good things from other guests. The food was good and the bedrooms were clean and comfortable!"

The location is nearby the Black Beach, so it can get really windy outside.

"Friendly staff (Ahmed, Sittey and Chumma) and nice food. The house-bird Zoe is also nice :-)"

"Lovely staff, really informative and kind. The hostel Backpackers was clean, comfortable and nice inside and out. Absolutely brilliant location - close to bus stops, Cuba Street, good eateries and has all you could need in the Backpackers. A fully functional kitchen, a lounge where you can chill with your buddies, board games to play, a nice outdoor deck. I also like the fact they had a female only bathroom downstairs. The showers were excellent, too!"

The bedroom I stayed in didn't have a lock that worked on the door, which was a bit concerning. I don't love that.

"The views from the house is amazing! The beaches nearby are empty and beautiful, and you got a bit of a local vibe. Food was really good and in general good value for money. Would highly recommend. If you come to surf be aware that there is no good places to rent proper surfboards nearby🏄‍♀️"

"MyFarm is not just a place to sleep. It is a vibrant place full of life. You wake up from the sound of beautiful birds in the morning, you can join the MyFarm team for breakfast and talk about their daily life here. All the staff is super nice and accommodating. It's amazing to be inside such a wonderful place that gives out free education to the people who live around here. I ended up helping out in the different educational programs and I loved every moment of it. I thought I just went for a cheap place to stay that was also social, but I got so much more. I will definitely come back as a volunteer to the project."
