My room had a really small window at 2 m hight so the room felt a bit claustrophobic. Also there was a construction site right next to the building which made quite some noise.

Although I accidentally chose the wrong room when I booked, she allowed me to change it (I wanted a female room) without hesitation. "Great helpful staff, freshly cleaned room. I arrived earlier than planned and they quickly swept and mopped the room and made up my bed while I waited. Super central location. Showers were hot. Got given a roll of toilet paper on check in which seems like a great solution to previous negative reviews saying toilet paper ran out and wasn't topped up. Great value for money"

There was no common area to hang out in like a lounge or courtyard or kitchen, but even still I made new friends just in my dorm room, in the corridor and in the bathroom while brushing my teeth. Probably not ideal for light sleepers as there is a karaoke bar nearby but I really enjoyed being able to hear all the singing!

You need to be careful at the lower bunk - not much space between the bunks, everyone hits their head at least once.

Inside the cabins gets really hot during the day. Not a single spoon in the hole place to eat my soup. To enter the compound there's a very awkward padlock where you have to drop everything on the floor to open the door. Not good if the floor is wet or in the darkness of night

"I loved the northern 12 day tour and the Gobi and hot springs 12 day tour. Both took me to beautiful locations. If you don't mind not showering for a few days but getting to more remote locations and meeting the local nomadic people- these tours are for you. I travelled with two other tourists, plus our English speaking guide and driver. My guide Riya was so cheerful and thoughtful, and a wonderful cook. She cared for us, like we were cherished family. The driver navigated hours of driving across the steppe with no assistance from Google, he just knows the countryside- incredibly skilled. I will be recommending Sunpath to anyone I meet who is going to Mongolia. Thank you Sunpath team, and Doljmaa you are an incredible business woman, so organised and thoughtful."

Very basic. I had a room to myself, but if I had to share, it'd be very cramped. Power outlet wasn't near the beds.
