"Dogs are welcome to roam throughout the grounds but the private terrace that goes with the property is not secure. So be aware if your dog is naughty like ours - who couldn't resist chasing resident ducks, chickens, cats etc - so had to be tied up the whole time."

"The property was exactly as described and spot on for my needs for an overnight stay en route from Calais to SW France. I think it is excellent value for money. The owners are lovely people. I would thoroughly recommend this property."

"The terrace overlooking the moat and to eat our meal in peaceful surroundings with a few ducks and chickens. Dog friendly. The gite is well equipped."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The owners are so lovely and great! The mansion & gîte is georgeous and quiet. The gîte even has a private patio bordering on water with lots of geese & ducks. Beautiful surroundings, garden, water, nature.......and even the possibility to buy sweet home-made wild honey!!! Hope to come back soon."
