"Comfortable, spacious gite. Eating in was a pleasure, both in the lounge/dining room or outside. Both bathrooms are a good size, particularly the ground floor one. The swimming pool is new and clean and very large for so few guests. The owner's tour of the chateau is as good as you'll get in the Loire. We hired bikes to cycle to Chambord and then along the Loire in a 20 mile loop. We had a home made picnic in the grounds of Chambord (although there are also plenty of nice cafes). It was a delight."

The location was convenient, with easy access to public transportation and local amenities. The host was friendly and responsive, making check-in and check-out a breeze.
