"I ended up staying two nights so I was able to see two rooms. The owner has been renovating this convent for thirty years. He is doing each room very nicely. Wonderful showers with multiple shower heads. One room had a Toto toilet."

"Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet was man für einen kurzen Aufenthalt benötigt, sogar eine Waschmaschine ist vorhanden. Die Betten (auch das Sofa im Wohnbereich) sind gemütlich und man kann die Fenster verdunkeln, daher hatten wir eine sehr gute und ruhige Nacht. Die Lage zum Hafen ist perfekt, wenn man mit der Fähre fahren möchte."

"The apartment was absolutely beautiful and we had a fantastic stay. The location is perfect for the beach and the bus stops just on the corner (Place du Suede) which is very convenient for exploring Calais. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed for our week long stay, although we would have liked a washing machine but not having one wasn’t a big deal. There is a supermarket less than 5 minutes away and the patisserie a few minutes walk to the left when leaving the building is a must! Having stayed in a different apartment in this building on a previous visit, I cannot recommend it highly enough for the location and ease of travelling round. The only issue I found here (which is not the fault of the hosts) is there are local cats who use the garden as a toilet. It wasn’t a big deal for us but something to be aware of if staying with young children."

Our room was excellent with a very comfortable bed and bedding, and the breakfast was superb. A major added bonus was the secure garage with free-to-use car battery chargers – a very thoughtful and practical touch."
