"Four adults with three dogs. Great location: 10-15 minutes walk to centre/front. Enclosed garden for the dogs and outside sitting area for adults. Five houses up, a field with a footpath where you can let dogs off-lead. Very tranquil area. Starry skies. Spacious house, light and generally clean and well equipped. Nice and warm. Outdoor table tennis table equipped with bats/balls. Off-road parking."

"The converted barn was comfortable, and there was a large garden with outdoor table and chairs for outside eating. There were 3 loos. The kitchen worked well. The beds were comfortable. The hosts were friendly and super helpful - I practised my French a bit."

"This was a really well equipped studio apartment which had everything I needed and more. It was an extremely comfortable bed and tucked out of the way in a quiet part of Metz. There is a supermarket within very easy walking distance and the station is also very easy walking (about 10 minutes). I would definitely choose to stay here again."

"Owner and host, Nicolas, has breathed life in to a grand but falling down town house and former shop in Montrejeau. The labyrinthine building dates in places from 1300AD and exudes charm and mystery (will you find the secret room in the 4 person suite?) and Nicolas has restored original features such as the centuries old parquet flooring and marble fireplace, the 1930s basin in the bathroom and the 1950s kitchen where we ate a delicious breakfast. We stayed only one night but it left a strong wonderful impression on all of my family. I have never previously been inspired to write a review of a hotel, but then I've also never stayed in a place where there is an old (but in tune) baby grand piano in my suite for my son to play, hidden doorways, and a charming walled garden with fruit trees from which the breakfast jam is made. Nicolas knows the history of the house and the local area and is happy to tell you about it if you are interested."
