"The location is superb - in beautiful countryside, only 200m from Abbey Escaladieu and only maybe 1 km from the Chateau de Mauvezin - both wonderful places to visit. Plenty of parking - some shaded. The couple who run it, Cyndia & Stéphane were very attentive. There is a wide choice of food in the evening and my meal was very nice. Breakfast is traditional French - bread, jam, cake, orange juice, coffee - and perfectly adequate. While I was there, a hot air balloon started its ascent from the grounds and I understand that flights can be arranged through a third party."

"We stayed here for twelve nights during June 2025 and found the property to be delightful. It is extremely well equipped and appointed with quality fittings, the highly efficient air conditioning system was a massive bonus on hot days, and the bathroom and ensuite facilities provide a commendable level of comfort and privacy. We rented bicycles for our stay, very reasonably priced from the man opposite Super U, which facilitated easy trips to the beaches and supermarket as well as jaunty rides to the port for evening meals and drinks. This is, in every way a wonderful place to reside and we recommend it wholeheartedly. The concierge, Carole, was very helpful and personable."
