"Our hostess could not have been kinder or more welcoming and our breakfast next morning was simply superb. We enjoyed our comfortable and pretty room upstairs on the very top floor which had a nice bathroom for our exclusive use next door.  We had the whole floor to ourselves, so nothing disturbed us or our dog who was warmly welcomed also. We found the Euskadi to be excellent value for money, especially in a busy holiday area, and being able to park there securely was much appreciated too. Two beautiful beaches are just a short stroll away from the house (but note that dogs are not permitted on the beaches from May to the end of September) and there are some lovely short walks overlooking the sea nearby.  We found an great little restaurant just minutes from the B&B and our dog was warmly welcomed there too.  All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in Bidart and at the Euskadi. Merci beaucoup!"

"Very nice B&B and close to the beaches. The bedroom is located on the 2nd floor of the house and offers good privacy. The location is within a 10 min walk from the beach and closer to Guethary center as Bidart. There you will find good restaurant and shops which can be reached within a 15 mins walk. The B&B is close the the highway leading into Spain."

"Very friendly. Had to leave early as travelling south, so had breakfast to take away. Lovely selection of meats, cheese, breads, fruit and yoghurt, which was excellent."

"The hostess Antoinette was kindness personified. The continental breakfast she provided was a lovely spread (various meats, cheeses, home made jams, fresh fruits, plus fresh bread, juice, yoghurt, cake and plentiful good coffee and hot milk). Super really. There was a line for hanging hand-washing in the garden. We had requested two separate beds and got a separate little bedroom for one of us - which was great for two friends travelling together. Generally, it was just a really well run, kind, generous B&B - a nice experience! And there was a choice of 2 good restaurants for dinner in a nice village with lovely sunset views about 10 minutes' walk from the house, even this early in the season (first half of April)."

"Nothing! The centre of Bidart is very charming, so pause to enjoy it/have a look around on your way through as the B&B is far enough beyond the town centre that you probably won't wish to retrace your steps (if you're journeying on foot, that is.)"

"We had a lovely stay at Euskadi. The host was very friendly and helpful, and recommended and booked a great local restaurant for us. The rooms and bathroom were very clean and not cramped, and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was varied and delicious. The location was brilliant for exploring the Pays Basque coast and nearby northern Spain. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday."

"Everything was exceptional. Lovely lady, very attentive and helpful. Amazing breakfast. Location was excellent and close to the coast, with bars and restaurants."

"If I was being very critical and I don’t mean to be in any regard at all, was that there wasn’t an en suite bathroom. We were allocated a private bathroom next door to our bedroom but other visitors, with a bedroom on the same floor as us, were given a private bathroom also but it was on the floor below. Anyone who needs the bathroom during the night, needs to be made aware of this."

"A lovely home, clean and well presented, friendly, helpful owner and good continental breakfast. Secure parking in gated property. Very close to beach and lots of lovely restaurants."

"It wasn’t a dislike as such but we weren’t sure whether we were sharing a bathroom with other guests or whether there were other guests on our floor which felt a bit awkward having our 13 year old daughter in her own room. However I would have asked about this if I spoke French so was partly due to language barrier which is no fault of the host."
