"The price and location of this hostel are excellent. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is available. Tobias and the cat Felix (aka Garfield) did a great job running the place while the owner, Christian, was enjoying his vacation in Greece. Highly recommended"

"Two things make this place shine: the host availability with the phone and the cat, Felix. Those alone made the experience great. Otherwise, if cats are not your thing and you dislike people, you will find a very cozy common area complete with everything you may need to have a pleasant stay. Rooms are very essentials so don't expect much furniture other than the beds. There's a radiator for heating and a wall rack for clothes though, and of course electric sockets to recharge your stuff. Plenty of bathrooms and washing machines (for a small fee) if you need. Wide parking all considered and view on the sea if you are on the correct side of the building. You can also camp and peruse of a fairly solid WiFi on the premises."

"I did appreciate being able to call the host, but how I was supposed to figure that out? There's a whiteboard at the entry but it's too packed with info to make sense out of it without anyone helping you a bit. The bathrooms were very essential with little amenities, along with the cabinets filled with the wrong items - not a big deal in itself but left me a bit puzzled since I was supposed to pick items myself, like towels. The door of the common area needs a bit of fixing, otherwise guest are unable to understand how to close it without slamming (a sign is not enough sadly). The position is a bit outside if you don't have a car. The main door was always left opened which I could fathom why considering the amount of cold that get in there because of that... Minor issue: there's a drape/flag sign on the main external wall which with the wind makes a lot of noise if your room is right next to it. I don't remember seeing an hairdryer but I am not sure as I haven't checked much."

"Such a friendly and welcoming hostel, my favourite hostel experience hands down! Nothing was an issue, the owner is a beautiful human, and the staff lovely. Can't speak more highly. Kitchen is very well stocked, everything we needed Lounge means everyone interacts (although you don't have to!) But very social. Felix the cat has thumbs. That's a bonus. Great base for exploring."

"I think this is one of the best places to stay in the Faroe Islands – affordable, close to the airport, with a very nice and cozy atmosphere. I highly recommend staying there. The hostel owner, Kristjan, is an amazing host, and his cat is also super cool and friendly :) Very good vibes and a great view from the kitchen. The hostel is located next to the lake. Bathrooms, rooms, and the kitchen are clean."
