"Very nice owners and staff, cats and dogs around. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. And a big plus it is a microbrewery! Also, everyone speaks English."

"Two nights stay in the town of Cotacachi during Inti Raymi was magnificent. The hostel, combined with a brewery, was our home from home, just seven minutes walk from the plaza. Comfortable, secure, with an outdoor common area to relax and enjoy the cats and dogs, and the beer. Our room was big with a very comfortable bed and a wonderful shower. Breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed many conversations with Roger and Melena, both so helpful. We should have stayed longer."

"Definitely need to place pictures of the Hostel and Brewery outside. They are working on it. But we couldn't tell when we pulled up that it was the location."

"Just the labeling outside. Otherwise, it was perfect. We could park inside their driveway. We were relaxed, the food was great, and the beer was better! The signage had "Athena"; we didn't correlate that with the Hoppy Alpaca Hostel. The doors were open; they were having an event, so we asked, and it was where we needed to be."
