"It was awsome! You can see almost all Costa Rica from the location. Emilio knows sooo much about nature and takes care of it incredibily. Their restaurant is really good. Everyone was so friendly and helpful."

"Everything was really good. If I must say something just to tell that maybe the cabins shoul be a bit renovated, but they are fine antway. The stay was really really nice and, Emilio and his wife were very nice. Thanks so much."

"O sr. Emílio foi uma pessoa incansável, muito prestável e muito gentil. Foi muito bom estar com ele e saber um pouco mais sobre a Costa Rica. Para quem gosta de estar próximo da natureza é um local lindo, com vistas fantásticas. O jantar foi muito bom. Gostámos muito da passagem por este sítio."

"Emilio ist ein toller Gastgeber,er hat uns spontan auf einen nightwalk mitgenommen und den ganzen nächsten Vormittag mit uns verbracht und uns einen tollen Platz gezeigt. Mit dem Motorrad voraus ging er mit uns auf Tour. Über das Trinkgeld wunderte er sich noch: bist du sicher?Das war doch mein Vergnügen ! Er lebt völlig im hier und jetzt und die Begenung mit den Menschen an seinem Platz macht ihm Freude! Sein Platz ist außerdem wunderschön gelegen,alles war einfach aber sauber,persönlich und unvergeßlich,was möchte man mehr?"

"Beautiful property, very nice caretakers. At the end of the Matapalo coast road - this season has seen a lot of rain so the road is even rougher than usual. Recommend high clearance 4x4 but we got by without a great vehicle. 15-20 minute walk back to backwash and pan Dulce, five minutes to Matapalo break walking. Lots of wildlife viewing on the way. Highly recommend. We spent 6 nights here with our kids ages 9, 17 and 19 and everyone had a great time."

"This home is a quiet sanctuary only a 10-minute drive from Santa Elena. My family of four loved being hidden among the trees. The home was very comfortable, and the kitchen was sufficient to cook meals. We loved the fireplace and the large patio to soak up the mountain air. Carlos was a wonderful host. He was very responsive, flexible, accommodating, and friendly. Thank you!"

"The property is pristine. The villas are private, comfortable, and well equipped with a fridge and coffee maker. The shared gourmet kitchen is modern, spacious, well equipped, with thoughtful ways to separate food among the guests. The grounds are immaculate, with multiple tasteful sitting areas. Very private. Twice, a large group of howler monkeys passed through the canopy above the grounds. Marcos and Jeisha are very friendly and helpful hosts."
