"Probably the best place to stay on Santo Antão. Pombas is a charming small coastal village, from where it is easy to explore Paul's Valley. Locals are extremely friendly. Laranjinha Rooms has it all: very welcoming and helpful owners, comfortable and spacious rooms, a terrace with sea view, the restaurant serves excellent food, and there is a supermarket below. Arlinho can arrange transfers to any place on the island (Cova crater, Cruzinha, Ponta do Sol, ....) We will definately come back!"

"Ci è piaciuto tutto, la posizione è fantastica e permette di raggiungere la spiaggia a piedi in pochissimi minuti. La passeggiata sul lungomare ti permette di raggiungere piacevolmente anche il centro di Santa Maria con tutti i negozi e ristoranti. Fantastica la presenza della piscina nel residence. La casa ha tutto il necessario per un piacevolissimo soggiorno in piscinta"

Forse potrebbe essere leggermente migliorata la pulizia dell'appartamento ma per il resto è tutto perfetto.

"The accommodation is very cozy and peacefully located. Having a car is definitely recommended. We stayed there for four nights and truly enjoyed it, using it as a base for our hiking trips by car, as we preferred not to change accommodations multiple times on Santo Antão. Our host, Eric, and his family were incredibly kind and put a lot of effort into making sure everything was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay!"

One small downside was that the water temperature depended on the sun’s intensity and wasn’t always as warm as we had hoped. However, it was still absolutely manageable and didn’t affect our overall positive experience.
