The unique igloos have a pleasant interior atmosphere and are comfortable to sleep in. The campsite is ideally located for visiting the various national parks in the region. "I really enjoyed staying at Camping La Y Griega, in Bocas del Toro. For me, the location is perfect because it is a bit further away from town (which can be very noisy), making the atmosphere much calmer and more peaceful. In addition, the two buses that go to the main destinations on the island stop right in front: to Playa Bluff or towards Bahía Dragón and Playa Estrella. Taxis to town cost 1 dollar. There are affordable options for both rooms and tents. The tents are set up on wooden platforms in a very cozy space with hammocks and sofas. The place is well maintained, with a beautiful garden and a fully equipped kitchen. Howler monkeys pass by very often, and you can also see hummingbirds, which makes the atmosphere even more special. The owner, Johny, is very attentive and friendly, and the volunteers are also very kind and helpful. If I return to Bocas del Toro, I will definitely stay there again. I highly recommend it."

"Khulan was super helpful, professional and spoke good English. Her advice and organisation was excellent. It was friendly, relaxing and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Turtle rock was a good hike that took about 4.5hrs there and back, but hiking anywhere in the national park was spectacular. Luckily the weather was sunny and warm. Visiting the Chinggis Khaan Statue on the way from Ulaanbaatar prior to check-in worked well."

It has a kitchen that is a huge plus.. cooking meal on Aruba is essential if you want to save money. It’s very near a great supermarket Cmart where you find absolutely everything. Walking distance from the airport if you can handle the heat."

It’s a bit far from the downtown.. 30min walk or you can take a bus that stops 50m from the house and leaves once in an hour. The place is kind of over organized..with their xxx items inventory and strict arrangements. Check out could be later.

"I liked the concept of this place - It’s a rustic, farmhouse-like accommodation with the fireplace in our rooms and the horses outside. The hosts were very accommodating, giving us a free upgrade for our rooms and allowing a late breakfast. The food there was great. Would be good to have more matchsticks/some firestarters to light up the fireplace!"
