"Beautiful views from the tent, very peaceful. Loved the sunset and the sunrise. The tents are very spacious and have everything you need: towels, soap, fridge, kitchen that comes with all the bits and bobs to cook."

Entry road was very bumpy.

"A small cabin in the woods, crown lands around allowing you to walk or hunt, no electricity, no phone network. A wood stove and candles. What's not to like?"

The road to get there is hard if you have a sedan especially after a snow storm.

"The location, the tents, the food and the staff were excellent. A lovely rustic place to stay! Really enjoyed the night walk, the canoe ride as well as the sounds of the jungle at night. The tents were incredible apart from it being really hot and give you the true feeling of being close to nature. The staff is very prompt and attentive and we really enjoyed the local food cooked with ingredients from the neighbouring areas."

It was quite hot and the fan was available only for a few hours each day.

We honestly cannot understand some of the negative comments regarding the food, as our experience was excellent in every aspect. "Saber and Mosbah were great! I really enjoyed my night in the desert due to their hospitality, despite the language barrier since i cant speak french or Arabic, but still i had a perfect stay! I enjoyed the songs and the food and the tea, couldn’t recommend enough!"

"True "eco" experience. Can't remember when I was closer to the nature. You need to take a boat the get to the island. Stunning views from the restaurant. Quiet life. Friendly staff."

It's not a comfy city lifestyle. Hot water is prepared in advance and you need to notify the staff. There's also a small fee for that. But in general everything is affordable there. No WiFi of course, but you can ask for hotspot.

"Tolles Erlebnis, mega Sonnenaufgang. Tatsächlich bequemer als erwartet. Der Bäcker um Frühstück zu besorgen ist nur 1 Minute entfernt."

Die Ablage am Kopfende war nicht sauber ( tote Fliegen , Sand) , eine der LED Kerzen funktionierte nicht. Wir hatten uns zum Glück eine Lichterkette mitgebracht. Das sollte bei dem Preis doch schon der Fall sein.

The proximity and the 180-degree view of the sea, the unmatched decor items, fairy lights and stellar interior planning, the very small-but-important facility and comfort details that have been considered, the quaint and romantic area around the dome, the considerate and responsive hosts all come together to make this a true gem here in Latvia. It feels like the place is kept beautiful and tidy out of genuine care for the wellbeing and pleasure of the guests. The hot tub costs extra, but a hot tub with a direct view of the sea is another rarirty here that is well worth the money. Absolutely recommended without hesitation, and I wish the hosts the endurance to keep this up, as we will 100% be looking to come back to this corner of paradise!"

To be nitpicky, the tap water seems to have high iron content, hence some water discoloration and odor. Nevertheless, there is extra drinkable water provided so this is not an issue really.

"Super fint telt med masser af plads til tre personer. Dejlig morgenmad, som blev leveret ved teltet. Teltene lå i pæn afstand, så man havde lidt privatliv. Sødt og hjælpsomt personale."

"I was in Siwa with friends. This trip was exceptional, I met wonderful people. The owner, Ahmed, was an exceptionally wonderful person. He asked us every day if we needed anything."

Too many flies specially when we tried to have the canopes at sunset. Perhaps at the parking spot where pick ups, drop offs are made, have a little shed with a couple of chairs so people could sit down while they wait to be picked up cos we came in a cab and sometimes, the driver may have another hire so he has to drop us and go off. Also, do advise guests to bring a sweater as it gets chilly at night. We did have one but only cos a colleague of mine who had been to a desert camp b4 recommended it.

Nothing much , staff that worked in the office could have been friendlier, like greet and show a interest when you come for breakfast, but not much more to mention . Great stay
