"No breakfast but was not expected. Location was great."

"Could have been cleaner. Baseboards had not been cleaned in a long time. Fridge door did not shut completely, outside patio furniture was dirty and barbecue and tank were really dirty."

"We were not in the main building, but this wasn't a bad thing as their might have been more stairs. Bed was comfy, room wasn't a bad size, but we found out they do not clean the room or change towels etc during your stay. But if you ask reception, they can arrange this to be done. We needed our room hoovering as due to the snow, everywhere had been gritted and this left bits of grit in your room, under your feet. Breakfast had everything you would need to start your day, and a bonus is tea, coffee and hot chocolate on tap and free all day. They do only have 9 parking spaces, and its first come first served. The location is excellent, you can walk everywhere so leave your car parked, we even walked to an ice hockey game without any bother. And the bonus is, if you do the Haunted Kingston tour, you do visit the hotel!!!!! ;-)"

"A wonderful little spot in the centre of town, walkable from the ferry. We enjoyed the relaxed trusting feel of owners, staff and other guests. A nice communal kitchen and laundry facilities were excellent. Everything is very well cared for. You feel immersed in the community with quirky pieces of history and collectibles around the hotel, while still having your own private experience."
