"Quaint, cozy village house with friendly, hospitable Belgian hosts who speak Bulgarian and will make you feel right at home. If you're into luxury and 5-star hotels, do not book here. "My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Watercolours between the 17-24 December 2025 and would thoroughly recommend it! The hosts are wonderful, remarkably kind and hospitable - they made our first experience of Bermuda very special, adding a touch of magic to a much needed break. Watercolours is a beautiful home, very tastefully decorated, with the guest rooms luxurious and well appointed. Much thought and consideration has gone into making sure every need is met, so that it really feels like a home from home. Also helpful advice about where to go and how to get there with bus/ferry tickets available to purchase from the host rather than having the hassle of buying these from the bus station. We were so fortunate to have booked this place - it was outstanding in every way!"

My only complaint is about the bed… it was hanging in the middle and was really noise. Needs a new bed.

"Easy communication with the owner. The room is relatively small in comparison to the other accommodations, but not a big deal, it's a traditional house. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we definitely recommend for 1-2 nights."

The acces road is quite steep and parking might be challenging. Quite a lot of mosquitos during the night.

Their is nothing i can assume to be bad. Everything was above my expectations. Everyone should try it at least. No one will say that they found something bad on this hotel.

"The location was perfect for what we were looking for, half way between diamond beach and Reykjavík. We arrived quite late and it was easy to check in and parked right outside. We also got to the see the northern lights that night!"

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. The room was basic and nothing fancy but met our needs and was clean and that’s all we expected and were looking for.

"For self catering facilities it is peefect, quiet and have laundry and ao forth included which is reàlly nice... the agent is very reasonable and always there to answer any questions or any concerns... I highly recommend 👌"

If bed mats to be place on both side of the bed and infront the dresser ... but others the property is well equipped.

As a grown up solo traveller, who is oftentimes ready to accept challenging environments, I cannot make any critical remarks. Right now due to the russian full scale invasion, hospitality businesses all over Ukraine are struggling for survival, which makes critical remarks even more misplaced. The bottom line is – I liked the property.

"Location is ok, 10 minutes walk to Somerset MRT station. Cleanness was ok, not spotted but acceptable. Air conditioning worked well. As the cheapest private room with private bathroom in the whole city this place is worth its price. Good contact with owner via whatsapp. I would come back."

The owner does not treat this place like a hotel, so for example, toilet paper is replaced by the guests themselves.
