"Amazing place! Spotless room with a balcony and a truly breathtaking view. Delicious breakfasts every day. The owners are incredibly kind and helpful, always happy to assist and organize activities. "Steve & Geri are terrific hosts, and the kind of people you want to meet when you’re travelling. They were very welcoming and accommodating, and fun to talk to. The B&B location is both convenient for arrivals, and well-placed for a walk along the southern coast beaches. The decor of the room is also well-suited to provide character. Enjoyed the breakfast."

"Modern, clean, self contained with bedrooms having on-suite bathrooms which also provided convenience and privacy. minimalistic though everything you expect from a hotel accommodation/apartment we had , elements from the spa were also included dressing, gowns and slippers, beach towels. The air conditioning throughout the rooms was great keeping us cool when relaxing in such a hot period of the year"

"My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Watercolours between the 17-24 December 2025 and would thoroughly recommend it! The hosts are wonderful, remarkably kind and hospitable - they made our first experience of Bermuda very special, adding a touch of magic to a much needed break. Watercolours is a beautiful home, very tastefully decorated, with the guest rooms luxurious and well appointed. Much thought and consideration has gone into making sure every need is met, so that it really feels like a home from home. Also helpful advice about where to go and how to get there with bus/ferry tickets available to purchase from the host rather than having the hassle of buying these from the bus station. We were so fortunate to have booked this place - it was outstanding in every way!"

"The location is amazing ! The gardens are beautiful and full of flowers and birds. We loved hanging out by the pool, with a lovely view down to the ocean and also spending time on the porch of our casita. The porch doubled the size of the living space and we enjoyed being out there especially in the mornings and the evening. This is a beautiful property that is very tranquil and relaxing. Jessica took great cafe of us and was a wonderful host. Highly recommend."

We loved sleeping with the ceiling fan at night. Cross ventilation would be really helpful and a fan in the kitchen. It could get really hot in the kitchen area. Otherwise, we loved this property and it was nice to get up into the hills and away from the beach at night. Truly and unique and special property.

"My second time staying at the wonderful St. James Guesthouse. Returned back after 3 years, and it was even more wonderful than what I remembered. The owner along with all of the employees are absolutely lovely. You truly feel at home with a lovely family like atmosphere. The rooms are authentic and have exactly what you need. Enjoyed having Netflix on the TV along with Aircondition in the room. Breakfast was delicious with great additional options you pay a cheap price for. Location is the best in Roseau, next to a car rental, walkable distance to everything (Ferry terminal, Markets, Restaurants/bars, Local busses to Portsmouth or Trafalgar). Cannot recommend this place and the employees enough. One of the many gems in Dominica! Thanks to the team once again 🙏"

some rooms dont have window and that really does not work for me. They were very acvommodating and let us pick another room.

The apartment is also very affordable for what it offers, with reliable and fast WiFi, making it a great choice for both leisure and work stays. "They upgraded us to a better room in the Dar Alma hotel with a sea view. It was gorgeous, and the breakfast was delicious. One of the best places to stay in Tyre."

The flush in the bathroom didn't work, and they never came to fix it during our stay. Before arriving, they were very insistent in calling and asking for our arrival time, so I would reduce the communication with the staff if possible.

"Clean, spacious, quiet and best value for the money I've been able to find around these parts. The stores are close, parking is easy and available. Nothing to complain about!"

It was a bit cold in the room even with the radiators turned all the way up, luckily there were two blankets so I still got a great night sleep!
