"We were a family of four (two nine year old boys) and the apartment was spacious for us to have room in the wet weather. The apartment was spotlessly clean, the showers were great. The balcony overlooking the town was lovely for a morning coffee, even in the rain. It was nice to enjoy a stay in a traditional house, especially for our young boys. The walk down to the town is short but steep. We didn't mind the exercise. The town had a lovely pub with live music and good food but the apartment also has decent cooking facilities. The bakery was closed but also looked great. Included in the stay was the card for the cable cars. Thank you Erna for a lovely stay."

"Amazing mountain view (e.g. Galtenberg), very close to the Gratlspitz, the Steinweg, Schatzberg and some nice hiking paths. The hosts are the best, always helpful and very knowledgeable. The kitchen is really well equipped. We will come back again!"

"It was a great place you had a great view. The host was brilliant and extremely nice, and in the garden, it had a swing, and the children could also play."

"Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt im Haus Alpbachblick in Alpbach. Die Vermieter wohnen mit im Haus und waren außergewöhnlich gastfreundlich, herzlich und stets hilfsbereit – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Der Panorama-Blick aus der Wohnung ist einfach unschlagbar und ein echtes Highlight. Die Wohnung selbst ist gut ausgestattet und sehr gemütlich, ganz typisch österreichisch. Wenn man vorhat zu kochen, sollte man lediglich Salz und Pfeffer selbst mitbringen, ansonsten ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Insgesamt eine tolle Unterkunft in traumhafter Lage – wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!"

"Great location. Cosy bar. Good parking. Friendly bar and family but had a grumpy waiter in the restaurant and service at dinner was slow. Food was good but if you were later down to breakfast quite a lot was already gone. Room exceeded my expectations, we were in the annex and there was plenty of room for our family, heated towel rails to dry all our ski wear. Overall really enjoyed the stay. We ate out a few nights for a bit of variety."

"Very spacious, light and clean apartment, perfect for those who wish to self-cater during their stay. The kitchen is very well equiped with everything you might need and has some really nice appliances fitted. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and Rosi very kindly offered to collect/drop us off at the local train station. However, the house is very conveniently located close to a local bus stop with direct links to train stations either side of the valley. Dorfgastein, with plenty of amenities, is a short walk away. The house itself is beautifully kept and located in a small community. It has the true feeling of a home-away-from-home. We couldn't fault our stay and are looking forward to our next visit!"

"Das Hotel ist wirklich super, besonders für Familien. Es ist an alles gedacht und sowohl die Erwachsenen als auch die Kinder können sich erholen. Es gibt eine Kinderbetreuung mit sehr, sehr liebevollem Betreuungspersonal- auch für die ganz Kleinen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Essen! Das Abendessen wird in einem 3-Gänge-Menü serviert und es schmeckte jedesmal fantastisch. Das Frühstücksbüffet lässt keine Wünsche offen und auch das Mittag sowie die Brotzeit waren (zumindest an zwei Tagen - an den anderen Tagen waren wir unterwegs) immer sehr lecker! Die Umgebung ist wahnsinnig schön und lädt zu vielen, vielen Unternehmungen und Wanderungen ein! Wir kommen definitiv wieder."

"All facilities were as advertised. The owner of the Hotel was very friendly and accommodating. We were able to securely store three bikes overnight. Although I wouldn't say it was cheap, the price of the room was better than other nearby accommodation houses. Breakfast was varied and quite sufficient."
